On May 20, members of Proctor’s Environmental Science Club helped make the high school a little greener by planting three new trees outside the building. Adding to the school's diverse tree collection, students planted a tulip tree, a Japanese maple and a hackberry tree. Two of the trees were purchased using funds the club raised through its bottle and can collection efforts, while the third was donated by club co-advisor Mr. Boyd. The Japanese maple was planted in memory of Mr. Lou Parrotta, creating a lasting tribute that will be enjoyed for years to come. A special thank you to the Buildings & Grounds team for their support and assistance with this project!
